Utilities and other expenses In summer, the air temperature in Montenegro can reach + 33-38C, and in winter the average temperature on the coast drops to + 10C and rarely reaches + 3C. Montenegro has no central heating and hot water supply, as well as gas supply. Houses and apartments are heated either with wood-burning stoves and fireplaces, or air conditioners, electric converters and "warm" floors. Hot water supply is provided by storage or instantaneous boilers. Gas can only be purchased in cylinders. Payment for electricity is made on the meter in the amount of 9.5 eurocents / kW. City water supply is also paid by the meter - 86 eurocents / cubic meter of water. The cost of utilities for an apartment with three rooms is about 100 sq. m with round-the-clock heating of all rooms will cost 100-130 euros per month. In summer, the monthly utility bills for small apartments will be around 50-70 euros if you use air conditioning. If you have a landline phone, the subscription fee will be about 5 euros per month. Local calls from a mobile phone cost an average of 0.10 - 0.20 € per minute, depending on the operator. Internet connection will cost 10 euros, and using the Internet at an unlimited rate - about 20-30 euros per month. Medical services Medical services for foreigners in state polyclinics in Montenegro are carried out on a paid basis or under insurance. A doctor's appointment at a public clinic or hospital will cost about 6 euros, in a private clinic - 35 euros without tests. Education The cost of a child's stay in a public kindergarten is about 80 euros per month, in a private one is more expensive. In schools, instruction is mainly in the Montenegrin language. In addition, children learn two more foreign languages. There is a continuing education school in Budva, where teaching is conducted in Russian. Not so scary,as you write.Was in a Bar,stayed in a new 9-storey house economy class, built for the workers and the poor.Hot water by solar panels,the quality of finish excellent,two elevators in the apartments of 65 square meters two bathrooms,terrace of 10 sqm Surprised by the layout of the city:house in the center of the city is not napadayut each other and not similar.Wonderful landscaping,lots of Paradise places.

Dana, You are absolutely right. But keep in mind more... If under the estimate without any inginerii the cost will be 3 times lower, and we could've had something to buy.... But it will not remain the coast.

When you consider that the infrastructure no .weak engineering...any engineering systems and networks, and the standard of living compared to Europe it is very low .and the prices are sorely inflated......
