PECULIARITIES OF TAXATION IN THE UK
Tax system the UK has some differences from other countries, thanks to which Albion is often referred to as "tax haven". Income taxes are relatively low and relate only to the income arising in the UK but not in other States. So, between the Russian Federation and the United Kingdom has a Convention on avoiding double taxation: if taxes are paid in Russia, the money can be freely imported to the UK, having to pay taxes a second time not. It attracts a large flow of capital into the country. Tax year in UK starts on 6 April and ends 5 April the following year.
