Dear Mr Miller,
To obtain a residence permit (visa to residence permit is valid for 1 year, then 2) it is enough to open a legal entity to obtain a tax number, confirm the place of residence and legal address (can be the same), then pass a simple interview at the Embassy in Moscow to obtain a visa for entry (entry within 2 weeks of receipt of the visa). Your investment will be the basis for obtaining a residence permit.
In Slovenia there are no restrictions on staying in the country, you get the so-called European Blue Card, and you can enter without a visa in all EU countries and a large list of other countries. The period of visa for about 6-9 months.
Average profitability in Europe can be considered 4-5% per annum after tax.
Try to think in terms of what profitability would be interested in You, because you can find virtually any option, the only question is Your willingness to wait for such an object, relying on the expertise of Your chosen broker (it will be his "catch") or came for a year in the country to pay particular attention to.
In Slovenia, however as in any EU country, you can find a great investment. Of course, Slovenia is not the most popular country for our fellow citizens, in terms of investment, but it is fraught with many possibilities.
For example in Germany or Austria is not uncommon auction objects 100% rented, with efficiency up to 10-11%, and because an active market, such deals appear with an enviable constancy.
