I read on one site that for a multiple entry visa in Italy you must provide a certificate confirming income of 600 euros. Moreover, the right to work there, while citizenship will not get it. In Italy there are no restrictions on foreigners buying property. However, the mere existence of ownership on Italian territory does not entitle you to citizenship or permanent residence in the country, but only provides the privilege to receive multivisa.
To be eligible for Italian citizenship, you must legally reside in the country for at least 10 years, or to marry an Italian citizen, giving the right to citizenship in two years after registration.
In order to live and work in Italy do not have to have citizenship - enough to permit the so-called permesso di sogiorno "Permesso di soggiorno".
There are many grounds on which it is possible to: study, treatment, political asylum, religious reasons, family reunification, employment, etc.
For buying Italian property to foreigners real interest for two reasons:
