Is it possible, in accordance with the laws of Bulgaria, to formalize the donation of real estate and a car to a Russian citizen (not related)? Marina, hello.
The legislation of Bulgaria in many respects is similar to the legislation of Russia. The granting of property located in Bulgaria is possible, and does not directly depend on the degree of kinship and whether there is any at all. In case of donation, the transaction is formalized in the same way as the purchase and sale - with the participation of the Notary. All fees are tax, notarial services, etc. , are paid in Bulgaria and the transaction is possible ONLY and ONLY in the territory of Bulgaria by the location of the property. Take into account the fact that donation is not in the way of relatives in a straight line in any way cheaper notarial registration, and thus the gift can be easily and successfully challenged, while the purchase-sale transaction is very difficult to challenge. If the donor and the gifted do not have the desire or the opportunity to come to Bulgaria for a gift, this can be done remotely, through proxies. The procedure is the same as for purchase and sale - the collection of the necessary documents for the transaction, the preparation of the transaction and notarization with subsequent registration in the instances.

Registration of all transactions with real estate (purchase and sale, gift, exchange) is carried out at the location of the real estate, i.e. In Bulgaria.
