How does 22% VAT work?
Anita asks:
Watching real estate prices in Ljubljana. The forum said that all prices need to add 22% VAT, which the buyer always pays. Explain whether this is always the case or are there other options?

Anita, hello!
This is true in most cases, 22% of the VAT is usually taken by adding to its commission companies paying VAT.
However, there are companies that do not pay VAT, in particular, the company with which I work is not a VAT payer.
In addition, when buying a new building (house or apartment), the VAT is lower, it is always mandatory and amounts to 9.5%.
