Hello! The fact is that it is completely impossible for Kazakhstanis to acquire real estate in Italy, there is no agreement between the countries! Only if there is a residence permit, i.e. I then need to rent real estate for half a year and immediately apply for a residence permit and only after issuing (and it is not clear whether they will give it or not) to purchase real estate. Last year, a deal fell through, we already found housing and it turned out that there was such a problem with the purchase! Is this true? Because there is no such information anywhere, but I really want to move.

Ayman, hello. Yes that's right. Citizens of Kazakhstan do not have the right to purchase real estate in Italy for an individual. Only with a residence permit in Italy they have this right. Hello Ayman! We recently faced the same situation, though in a different country, and found out where it can be checked exactly - on the website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I am sending you a link to a page with a list of all countries with all their agreements with Italy (valid / expired / under approval), a page with Kazakhstan should open immediately, in any case, all countries are listed alphabetically.

This is the only agreement under approval, but it does not apply to real estate investments. So you can’t buy real estate in Italy (just like Italians can’t buy real estate in Kazakhstan)
