If you have a minor child and you have received a residence permit, then the Czech authorities already know about its existence. The applicant makes a notification about the presence of children when filling out the application form for a permit for a long stay in the country. It is enough to inform the authorities of the Czech Republic about your decision to live in the Czech Republic with your child and he / she will automatically receive the same type of residence permit as you, with the same validity period.
