To obtain a residence permit in Bulgaria, you need grounds.
There are 5 main cases in which a residence permit is issued:
1. Registration of a trade representative office of a foreign company.
2. Registration of a Bulgarian limited liability company, which employs at least 10 local residents for more than 6 months.
3. Real estate investments in the amount of €312,000.
4. Investments in the least developed regions of Bulgaria in the amount of €125,000. The list of regions can be requested from the Bulgarian Consulate. 5. Citizens of non-EU countries who are retired and have sufficient funds and housing in Bulgaria can obtain a visa.
6. Family reunification.
7. Residence permit for European citizens.
Owning real estate is not a sufficient reason to obtain a residence permit, but it will help to get a local address and register a company, or get a residence permit under a pension program if a person receives a pension, regardless of age.
When buying a property in Bulgaria, the owners, as well as their family members (spouse and children under 18 years old) they are eligible to receive a multivisa. It gives the right to stay in the country 180 days a year. Bulgarian legislation provides for the receipt of a document by real estate owners in a simplified manner.

Good afternoon, you can get a residence permit (visa D) if you have a confirmed pensioner status in Russia. If there is no pensioner status, you can open a legal entity in Bulgaria and obtain a residence permit on this basis.

Hello! We are considering options for buying a house with a plot of land in Bulgaria for permanent residence. Please tell me if it is currently possible for Russian citizens to make such a transaction and register the purchased property for themselves. Thanks!

BULGARIA. Property maintenance
We bought an apartment in Bulgaria two years ago. The house has the status of a housing estate. About 80% belongs to a Bulgarian company and is rented out in the summer.
During all this time, the manager has not provided any documents for all our requests and refuses to accept the support fee only from us. They asked him many times to take a dachshund, he says then and so on for two years! And he tells the neighbors that we don't pay. What should I do and what is the threat of this situation?

BULGARIA. Visa, residence permit, citizenship
We, two pensioners from Israel, have a permanent residence permit in Bulgaria. Is it possible to get any kind of residence status in Bulgaria for our daughter (single, 46 years old), given that we need her help caring for us. Are there any exceptions to the general rules for family reasons?
