The state does not protect you from ocupas settlement, regardless of whether you are a resident or not. There are different ways to protect against ocupas, and do not forget that a lot of housing on the coast is used by the Spaniards themselves only in the summer and these apartments are not occupied by ocupas. Yes, there is a problem, but not every empty apartment in Spain has a paycheck.

Good afternoon. I am selling an apartment in Russia (the term of ownership is less than 5 years), the purchase and sale agreement does not include an incomplete price. I need to transfer these funds to my son's account in a Spanish bank, who lives there for social reasons (actually illegally) to buy real estate in Spain. Can a Spanish bank block funds due to the fact that the value in the contract is less than what I will transfer to a Spanish account, request a transfer agreement, proof of kinship.
