Together, these seven groups accounted for 20,364 real estate transactions between January and June, 28.6% of the total number of purchases (71,155) made by foreigners in Spain, both residents and non-residents.
Moroccans were the leaders in the number of transactions (5,654 units). In terms of the number of apartments and houses purchased in Spain, they were second only to the British (5,731).They are followed by the Italians and the Dutch, who account for more than 4,100 transactions, which puts them in fourth and sixth place, respectively, among all foreign buyers.
If we talk about the price per square meter, Americans topped the list, paying an average of 3,465 euros per square meter, which is the highest figure among all foreign citizens.They are followed by buyers from Switzerland (3457 euros per square meter), Sweden (3421 euros per square meter). Russians are on the eleventh line, Ukrainians on the seventeenth.
