The Department for Investment Immigration of Antigua and Barbuda officially announced changes in the program "Citizenship through investments". This is reported by international consulting company Henley & Partners.
The statement said that from May 1, 2018 to October 31, 2018, investors are offered a special option for investment in real estate: two investors can invest $ 200,000 (that is jointly $ 400,000) in the property and get the citizenship of the country. The standard option is $ 400,000 for one person. All additional payments, including payment for reliability checks, remain unchanged.
Among other changes - the cancellation of payment for verification for reliability during the renewal of the passport in five years, as well as the reduction in the age of parents that can be included in the application, from 65 to 58 years.
The above changes were approved by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda on April 11, 2018.
