The parliamentary committee on law and order Bulgaria adopted in the first reading amendments to the Aliens Act concerning the reduction of the amount required to obtain a residence permit of the country with the purchase of real estate, with BGN 600 000 (€ 306 779) to BGN 100,000 (€ 51,159). Proposal for a Council of Ministers has also been supported by the Department of the archive registration and migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bulgaria. In addition to reducing the cost of real estate threshold required to apply for a residence permit, the proposed amendments to the Aliens Act includes several points: organization of at least 10 jobs with full employment for citizens of Bulgaria for foreign businessmen residing in Bulgaria as a condition for obtaining a residence permit; the possibility of obtaining citizenship for residence permit status of owners with input from investments in the country in the amount of BGN 1 million; reduction in terms of the application to the municipality for new tenants the owners of tourist accommodation up to three instead of five days and a number of others.
