The interest of foreigners in Cypriot real estate continues unabated.
Most of the transactions with foreigners are in Paphos, where international demand continues to drive up prices.
In In Nicosia, the Greeks were the leaders among non-local buyers. They were followed by Romanians and Russians. Famagusta was dominated by the British. Larnaca has become a center of attraction for investors from Israel, Lebanon and the UK. LImassol is still a favorite destination for Russians, followed by Israelis and Greeks. And in The British regained the first place, slightly ahead of the Israelis and Russians.
In 2024, a total of 6,754 transactions with foreigners were registered, of which 2,785 were made by EU citizens and 3,969 by non-EU buyers. The most active month was July, when buyers from non-EU countries applied for 703 contracts.Source: Cyprus Mail
