The Albanian capital is actively being built up, new projects are appearing in different price categories.
It is noteworthy that the elite segment is developing especially rapidly in Tirana. Property prices in new premium high-rise complexes near Bolshoy Lake have reached a record 10,000 euros per sq. m. Developers offer luxury apartments with high ceilings and panoramic views, as well as rich internal infrastructure on site and hotel-level service in such projects.
In the segment of inexpensive housing, prices have also increased recently. In the city center, the cost of apartments starts from 2,000 euros per square meter, and in the suburbs from 900 euros per square meter. The share of transactions with foreigners in the market is about 18%. Mostly Albanian real estate is purchased by EU citizens.
