The cost of housing in Ireland continues to increase: for the year by October 2017, it grew by 12.1% on average in the country - and by 11.6% in Dublin, according to the International Property Wire portal with reference to the data of the Central Statistics Office.
Prices in September 2017 increased by 12.2%: the growth as a whole was 7.5% higher than in the 12 months of 2016.
Most of all, prices for apartments grew in the south of Dublin (+ 14.4%). On the territory of the country, houses increased in price by 12.5%, and apartments - by 15.9%. Most of all, the cost of apartments grew in the west of the country (+ 15.8%).
In general, at the moment the national property value index is 23.7% lower than in 2007. In Dublin, this figure is 24.7%.
Since early 2013, the cost of housing in Ireland has increased by 70.2%, in Dublin - by 86.4%.
