Housing prices in Estonia increased by 5% year-on-year in the 2nd quarter of 2025, the country's Statistical Office reported this week.

At the same time, apartments rose in price by 4.5%, and houses by 7.8% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2024.

Compared to the 1st quarter of 2025, the housing price index (HPI) increased by 3.6%.

"Apartment prices across Estonia have been rising for two consecutive quarters after a period of recession in 2024," said Mart Umblea, a leading analyst at the Estonian Statistical Office. He noted that prices in Tallinn alone remained unchanged in the 1st quarter, having increased by 3.9% only in the 2nd quarter.

The total volume of transactions in the 2nd quarter of 2025 was higher than in the previous two quarters.
