Prices for apartments and houses in Latvia increased by 8.1% in the 4th quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. These are the data from the Central Statistical Office.
New housing has risen in price by 4.1% over the year, and finished real estate by 9.2%.
In quarterly terms, however, there was a slight decrease in prices by 0.2%, while apartments in new buildings fell by 2.8%, and real estate in the secondary market rose by 0.6%.
Compared to 2015, housing prices have more than doubled (by 103.3%). The price increase in the primary market was 109.8%, and in the secondary market - 100.8%.
