In the Netherlands, real estate prices, after falling in mid-2023, will go up again, according to the large Dutch bank ABN AMRO.
The bank adjusted its financial expectations for 2024, saying that house prices will rise by 4% over the next year, although it was previously assumed that the rise would be less. Analysts of the financial organization also believe that by the end of 2025, apartments and houses will rise in price by 7.5%.The following factors indicate the emerging trend: rising wages, lower mortgage rates and a shortage of apartments on the market.
Many Dutch cities suffer from a lack of supply and high cost of real estate in the center. According to ABN AMRO, there are also an increasing number of single-person households in the Netherlands, further exacerbating the housing shortage.
