The residential property price index in Turkey showed an annual decrease of 2.3% in real terms in January, the Central Bank said.
In nominal terms, prices are rising. Especially in the three largest cities of the country. The annual price increase in January was 28.7% in Istanbul, 31.7% in Ankara and 29% in Izmir. Monthly growth: 3.1% in Istanbul, 3.5% in Ankara and 3.7% in Izmir.
The rent index for new tenants (NTRI) also went up. Annual growth was 34.2% in nominal terms and 2.7% In the real world. The annual increase in rent, excluding inflation, reached 38.1% in Istanbul, 36.9% in Ankara and 38.5% in Izmir.
