Montenegro introduces temporary visa-free travel for citizens of Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the UAE and Egypt. This was announced by the Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordic.
Thus, the Montenegrin authorities are trying to attract more guests to their resorts.
Kordich also announced the launch of new air routes. "Together with the Ministry of Transport, we initiated the process of opening a permanent line between Podgorica and Sofia. In the summer, lines will be opened to Madrid, Barcelona, Bahrain via Athens, and then to several airports in the United Kingdom," she noted.
The allowed period of stay in Montenegro without a visa is 30 days.
The visa-free entry regime is already in effect for citizens of many countries, including Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine.
