In the five years from 2019 to 2024, the tourist flow to the Dominican Republic increased by 48%. The number of tourists increased from 7.5 to 11.2 million. The country has been one of the leaders in rebuilding the tourism sector after the pandemic, according to the World Tourism Organization.The tourist flow from Russia to the Dominican Republic has sharply decreased in recent years due to the cancellation of direct flights. However, as recently it was reportedthat the resumption of direct flights is possible before the end of this year.
