The initiative proposed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism is valid from July 20 to October 31, 2026. Its goal is to stimulate tourism by turning residents into ambassadors of the city.
Who can participate?Citizens and residents of the UAE over the age of 18 who have a valid Emirates ID.
Who can I invite?Guests who are not residents of the UAE and enter the country on a tourist visa or are eligible for a visa on arrival.
How does it work? The resident registers the guest's details via an online form on the Visit Dubai website prior to his arrival. After the guest arrives in Dubai (from July 20 to October 31), his arrival is automatically confirmed through government systems, and within 72 hours the resident receives an e-mail package of rewards.
What is included in the reward package?
The total value of the bonus package exceeds 3000 dirhams (about 815 dollars or 700 euros). This is not a cash payment, but a set of discounts and offers from the program's partners, which includes:
- Hotels.Discounts on accommodation up to 45%, free nights, credits for hotel services and room upgrades.
- Attractions.Free tickets to water parks and amusement parks.
- Restaurants.Discounts and offers like "two for the price of one" in popular establishments.
- Transportation.Free taxi service subscription and discounts on trips.
The bonuses received can be used until December 31, 2026. One resident can receive a maximum of three bonus packages for the entire campaign period.
Interest in the program turned out to be very high: over 10,000 applications were submitted in the first two days. The launch of this initiative is attributed to the authorities' desire to support the tourism industry, which has suffered due to tensions in the region and the associated decline in tourist flows.
