In the first 7 months of 2024, the Dominican Republic hosted 6.969 million guests. This is another record figure. It is 11% more than in 2023, 41% more than in 2022, 44% more than in 2019, and 48% more than in 2018.
"Last month alone, 1,017,896 people visited the country, which is 8% more than last year, 21% more than in 2022, and 51% more than in 2019," the Minister of Tourism said;David Collado.
In 4 years, 31.9 million people rested in the Dominican Republic, which exceeds the figures for any previous four-year period.
Dominicans are proud of the success of their tourism sector. The active influx of vacationers is favorably reflected and in the real estate market.
