Authorities are already targeting nurses from countries such as Mexico and Brazil to solve the problem.
From March 1, 2024, the second stage of the implementation of the Law on Immigration of Qualified Workers is underway in Germany. It provides many opportunities and benefits for foreigners:

- Qualified workers can bring their parents and in-laws with them to Germany.
- Many specialists will be able to start the qualification recognition process after arriving in the country.
- Nurses from non-EU countries who have completed regulated nursing training lasting less than three years will be able to work in the health and care sector.
- Students will now be allowed to earn extra money even before enrolling in a university.
