In the second half of the year, the program "Golden Passport" of Grenada set several records at once.
Firstly, the maximum number of applications for citizenship for investments was accepted - 1108 (+235%). Secondly, the number of processed documents is also a record high - 748 (+203%). Thirdly, the country issued a maximum of passports in 2011 (+160%). And, finally, fourth, the peak revenue of 212 million US dollars (+213%) was received.
Under the terms of the program, applicants for a Grenada passport must invest an amount of 220,000 USD in real estate from a list approved by the authorities or from 350,000 USD if the selected object is not included in this list. Another way to participate is to make donations of $150,000 to the National Development Fund.
In 2023, 75% of investors chose investments in real estate, and the rest - donations. The developers of Grenada have already received 133 million US dollars out of 212 million this year. This is more than in the previous two years.
Grenada's program was open to Russians until March 31, 2023. Today, applications from applicants from Russia and Belarus are not accepted.
