Foreign tourists brought Croatia almost 15 billion euros in 2024, according to the National Bank of Croatia (HNB), which is 2.7% more than in 2023. Thus, tourism revenues in the country have reached a record.
The last quarter of last year was particularly successful: revenue amounted to 1.798 billion euros, which is 10.1% more than in the same period of 2023.
Minister of Tourism and Sports Tonci Glavina expressed satisfaction with the results, stressing the importance of growth beyond the peak summer months."We are particularly pleased that record results have been achieved both in the offseason and in the postseason," he said.
Glavina attributed the success to significant investments in Croatia's tourism sector.
