From January to October 2024, the volume of FDI, according to the Central Bank of Albania, reached a record 1.16 billion euros. Real estate accounts for 23% of the total. The regulator expects that the total figure for 2024 will be 5% more than in 2023.
Foreign investment in real estate in the first three quarters of last year increased by 21% year-on-year and reached 269 million euros.
According to the data for the 3rd quarter, foreign investments in the real estate market decreased by 7.4% year-on-year, amounting to 88 million euros.
