Spain: housing prices fell in May

In May 2012, property prices in Spain fell by 11.1% compared to the same period in the previous year, according to the website of the company Tinsa . According to specialists, these indicators suggest slowing the decline in property prices in the country over the past few months. According to the index Tinsa, in May 2012 on the Mediterranean coast recorded the strongest annual decline in prices - 14.4%, followed by the major Spanish cities, where the decline in value of the property for the same period was 13.3% compared to last year. In other municipalities, the annual decline in prices was 8.4%, and in the Balearic and Canary Islands - 6%.
