The average cost of rental housing in the whole of Spain in March 2013 remained unchanged compared to the same month in 2012, according to Spanish portal Kyero , referring to the latest data of the national statistical institute of the country. As the publication El Mundo notes, for the year in the period from March 2012 to March 2013, rents rose by 1.3% in Galicia, Catalonia 0.9%, in Cantabria, the Basque Country and Castile to 0 , 8%, in Asturias and the Balearic islands of 0.5% and 0.4%. During this period, registered a decline in the rental cost of ten Spanish regions. In Navarre rent fell by 2.1% in Murcia - by 1.8%. Also in Madrid, capital of Spain, rental rates fell during the year by 1.1%, in Rioja - by 0.7%, in Valencia - by 0.5%, in Aragon - by 0.3%, in Andalusia at 0, 2% and the Canary islands - by 0.1%.
