The German newspaper Die Welt published an article which says that property prices in Italy are falling, even in such popular areas as South Tyrol, writes the online edition of Thelocal.de. And so now, in the opinion of the journalists of the newspaper, the most opportune moment for the acquisition itself is a second home for vacation. In many regions of Germany, real estate prices are rising on the contrary, and the Germans think, where they most profitable to invest their savings. The article notes that the economic crisis is turning Italy into a good option to buy a second holiday home is for German investors. Prices in South Tyrol is already down more than 20%, and is expected to fall by 7% in the near future. For example, one-bedroom apartment in one of the districts, which in 2009 was sold for 230,000 euros, is currently exhibited in the market for 170 000 euros. The main reason, as already mentioned, is the crisis that led to a sharp fall in domestic demand in Italy. The economic indicators of the country decreased by 6% since 2008 and continues to fall.
