According to the Directorate of the Antalya Immigration Department, the number of foreigners with a residence permit in the city, which as of June 22, 2023 was 148,597 people, decreased to 131,659 people by October 26, 2023, thus, 17,000 foreigners with a residence permit left the city in 4 months, and the number of those who left since the beginning of the year, it has reached 25,000.
According to the Turkish edition, the departure of foreigners is associated with an increase in the cost of living, including an increase in rental rates.
Real estate sales to citizens of foreign countries for 9 months of 2023 decreased by 29% compared to the same period in 2022, when there was a boom in the market.
Recall that, starting from April 2022, Russians are leading among foreign buyers of real estate in Turkey. Ukrainians also occupy a significant share.
