Japan has decided to ease visa regime for Russian citizens, including for those who are visiting this country on business – it was announced during the ongoing visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Japan. It is reported by RBC with reference to information of the official website of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Japan.
As noted by the Japanese Ministry of foreign Affairs, for permission for a short visit to the country and now the Russians do not need to obtain a surety in that case, if they travel at their own expense. Also expands the list of those who can get a multiple entry permit to Japan. Among them – representatives of the world of business, academics and cultural figures. For them, the validity period of the visa will be extended from three to five years.
In addition to single entry visas will be issued and a multiple entry tourist visa visa for a period of three years, authorizing a stay in Japan for up to 30 days.
As noted by the foreign Ministry of Japan, corresponding weakening of the visa regime will become more convenient for tourists and businessmen and will increase the number of those who come to Japan with a re-visit.
