Kazakhstan published amendmentsto the decree regulating the presence of foreigners in the country, which will enter into force on January 26, 2023.
According to the new rules, citizens of other states can stay in the country for no more than 90 days in a half-year.
Thus, if a non-resident has stayed in Kazakhstan for 90 days, then after this period he will have to leave for 180 days. "Visa-free" (crossing the border in order to reset the legal period of stay in the country) it won't work now.
Changes in legislation do not apply to those who have already issued a temporary residence permit or a residence permit.
