The Cyprus real estate market in January 2026 showed the best results in 18 years.
In January 2026, 1,411 real estate purchase and sale agreements were registered throughout Cyprus, which is 11% more than in January 2025 (1,275 transactions). These are the data from the Department of Land Resources and Land Management.
The growth leader turned out to be Pathos with growth of 25%. The number of sales increased from 255 (January 2025) to 318 (January 2026).
Data for other regions
- Famagusta. The second place in terms of growth rates: +23%. From 56 deals to 69.
- Larnaca.Steady growth of +11%. From 259 to 288 deals.
- Nicosia (capital).An increase of +5%. From 276 to 291 deals.
- Limassol. The leader in terms of volume:The largest absolute number of sales of 445 properties was recorded here. However, the growth rate is the most modest among all districts+4% (429 transactions in January 2025).
