In April 2025, construction of an international marina for 140 yachts will begin on Serangan (Turtle Island). The parking of small vessels will be located next to the international seaport.
The developer of the project is Bali Turtle Island Development (BTID), which manages the Kura-kura Bali Special Economic Zone.
Kura-kura Bali is expected to become one of the new investment magnets. In addition to the marina, a shopping center, a hotel complex, an international school, and a research center will open here. The construction of hotels and villas in this area is already underway.
