The annual Expat Insider Survey shows how more than 10,000 expats from 172 countries feel about the countries they now call home.This year, 46 popular destinations for relocation were included in the study, which were ranked by quality of life.
The rating combines information about various aspects of immigrant life, from safety to ease of living. The study assessed 56 factors, which were divided into the following key indicators:
- The Quality of Life Index (takes into account opportunities for recreation, travel, healthcare, safety, and the environment)
- Ease of adaptation in the country (culture, friendliness and ease in finding friends)
- Work Abroad Index (career prospects, salary and job security, as well as corporate culture and job satisfaction)
- Personal Finance Index (cost of living, financial satisfaction)
- Index of key aspects (digital life, housing and local language)
- How satisfied are people with their lives abroad in general
Top 10 best countries for expats, according to the Expat Insider Survey 2025:

The countries that, according to the survey, showed the worst results in the 2025 ranking:Great Britain, Germany, Finland, South Korea, Turkey and Kuwait, which took the last, 46th place.
