For the first six months of 2017, the value of transactions with real estate in Dubai has increased by almost 17%, Zawya reports with reference to the data of the Land Department.
According to the latest data, the total amount of transactions with real estate in the first half of 2017 amounted to AED 132 billion ($ 35.9 billion), which is 16.8% more than in the same period last year. The number of transactions increased by 26% to 35,571 transactions.
The largest number of transactions (4510 or AED 15 billion) fell on the citizens of the UAE. They are followed by residents of Saudi Arabia, representatives of other Arab countries, as well as Indians, Pakistanis, British, Chinese and Canadians.
Areas most popular for buying a home are Dubai Marina, Business Bay and Barsha South 4.
