According to the recently published data of the Italian Statistical Bureau ISTAT, the volume of sales of real estate in Italy in 2016 increased by 10.3% (202,652 objects) in comparison with the indicators of 2015. This is reported by the portal Italy 24 .

According to the ISTAT data, 189,899 (93.7%) transactions were for homes and apartments, 11,607 (5.7%) for business properties and 1,146 (0.6%) for special purpose buildings or co-ownership.

Thus, the volume of sales of residential property in Italy last year increased by 10.7%, and commercial - by 4.4%.
