The first hotel will be Hilton in Tunisia

Hilton Worldwide, the Group signed an agreement with Societe Touristique Tunisie Golfe the opening of its first hotel in Tunisia, according to "RIA News" . Brand Hilton Hotels & Resorts will replenish the existing hotel to 283 rooms, which will be opened under the name Hilton Tunis Carthage to the middle of next year. The hotel is located in the resort town of Gammarth, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, a 20-minute drive from the center of the Tunisian capital and the international airport. Hilton Tunis Carthage will have three restaurants, a lobby bar, two outdoor pools, an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, a spa, a traditional hammam, as well as the country's largest business center. Play a round of golf, guests will be able to field a 5-minute drive away. Hilton Worldwide Group in the Middle East and Africa is represented by 44 hotels in 14 countries, a further 27 are under construction. Under the brand of Hilton Hotels & Resort currently operates more than 530 hotels and resorts in 76 countries around the world. The company's goals include to increase until the end of 2011 the number of countries to 80.
