Aeroflot has requested the necessary slots from the Indonesian aviation authorities for flights from Moscow to Denpasar and is awaiting a response from the Indonesian side, airline.
During a visit to Moscow, Indonesian President-elect and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto stated that Aeroflot could make direct flights to Bali. Jakarta is also not against giving this opportunity to other Russian airlines.
Aeroflot stopped flights to Denpasar in August 2020.
The resumption of direct flights from Bali will be a long-awaited event for both tourists and real estate investors from Russia.
