According to the Statistical Committee of Armenia, 3606 real estate purchase and sale transactions were concluded in the country in February 2023, which is 8.2% less than in the same month last year and 16.2% more than in January this year.
Most of the transactions (29% of the total number) took place in Yerevan.
In February, foreigners bought 158 residential properties in Armenia. Russians are the leaders among non-resident buyers (116 transactions). This is followed by citizens of European countries (19 transactions), citizens of the USA and other CIS countries (7 transactions each).
Representatives of other countries not only bought, but also sold apartments and houses in Armenia. There were 243 such transactions in total. Most of them (178 transactions) were also made by Russians.
