In the 1st quarter of 2023, real estate sales in Estonia fell by 27% compared to the same quarter of 2022 to 8882 transactions worth 895 million euros. In terms of the number of contracts concluded, this is the lowest figure in the last 10 years.
Sales in the secondary market decreased by a quarter compared to last year, and in the primary market by 10%.
The average cost per square meter of an apartment in a new building in Tallinn is 3723 euros. The price increase is 0.1% compared to the previous year and 3% compared to the previous quarter. In the secondary market, a square meter of real estate in Tallinn costs an average of 2656 euros. The price increased by 5% year-on-year and fell by 2% month-on-month.
