In 2023, 40,584 real estate purchase and sale transactions were recorded in the Estonian real estate market, which is 16% less than in 2022. The volume of sales in monetary terms fell by 17%. These are the data of the country's Land Department.
Housing prices vary significantly depending on the district.
The lowest median prices for apartments in Ida-Virumaa and Yygeva counties are 9,000 and 10,000 euros, respectively (about 330 euros per sq. m.), and the highest median price took place in Harjumaa is 100,000 euros (almost 2,800 euros per sq. m.). Practically Half of all apartment sales are recorded in Harjumaa.
