Real estate sales in Hungary increased by 37% in October 2024, to 10,738 units, according to data from the real estate agency Duna House, cited by the Daily News Hungary.
The rise in sales in the Hungarian market began at the end of summer.
The market recovery is also evidenced by the fact that there is an increase compared to the previous month. In October, the number of transactions increased by 10% compared to September.
Duna House experts believe that supply and demand are stable, so the increase in sales of residential real estate may continue until the end of the year.
A significant increase in the number of transactions was observed in Budapest. In October, the housing market experienced a recovery on both the supply and demand sides, which has not been observed for several years.
