The Vietnamese tourism sector is booming - the number of foreign tourists has exceeded the pre-pandemic level.
According to the National Tourism Administration, in the first 11 months of 2025, the country received 19.15 million foreign tourists, which is 21% more than in the same period last year and exceeds the previous record of 18 million arrivals set in 2019.
From January to November, 593,000 Russians visited Vietnam, which is 190% more than a year earlier. The tourist flow from Russia is the largest among European countries and the fastest growing.
The leaders among the national groups vacationing in Vietnam are citizens of China (4.8 million people) and South Korea (4 million).In November, a particularly strong increase in tourist traffic was observed from North America: the number of arrivals from the United States increased by 30.5% compared to the previous month, and the number of guests from Canada increased by almost 56%.
