In 2021, Russians were the largest national group of those who received such visas in Spain, ahead of citizens of the United States, Great Britain and China.One of the programs in demand among wealthy foreigners is «Golden visa», which allows you to get a residence permit in Spain when buying a property worth 500,000 euros. The scheme is available to citizens of the Russian Federation who do not appear on the sanctions lists.
Spain issued the most short-term visas to Moroccans last year (144,666). Holders of Russian passports are in second place (129,924).
