In August 2024, the number of real estate transactions in Armenia reached, according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic, 4,822 units, which is 8.4% more than in August 2023.
Most of the real estate was sold in Yerevan, the capital of the country, accounting for 27% of all contracts.
The most purchased type of real estate in Armenia is land plots. This is followed by apartments in multi-storey buildings and private houses.
Foreigners, citizens of the CIS countries, Europeans, Americans are still active in the Armenian housing market. In August, they acquired 142 properties. Russians bought the most apartments and houses - 82 units.
Foreigners not only buy, but also sell real estate in Armenia.In August, they registered 195 sales transactions. Russian citizens sold the most housing units - 146 units.
