As reported by The Croatian Foreign Ministry, the country's diplomatic missions and consulates will issue Schengen visas (type A and C) and national long-term visas (type D).
Croatian short-term visas (type C) issued before December 31, 2022 will still be valid for entry into the Republic of Croatia.
But according to them, from January 1, 2023, it will be impossible to enter other states that are members of the Schengen area.
Another change is that foreigners with visas or residence permits of Bulgaria, Cyprus and Romania will no longer be able to enter the territory of Croatia from 2023 if they do not have an open Schengen visa.
