The richest EU country - Luxembourg, the poorest - Bulgaria, according to a new study of 2010 European statistical agency Eurostat, reports Reuters. Eurostat estimated the proportion of per capita GDP of 27 countries - EU members and 10 other countries in units - purchasing power standards (PPS). The first lines of the ranking is Luxembourg (283 units), the Netherlands (134 units), Austria, Denmark, Ireland, (125 units), Sweden (123), Germany (119), Belgium (118), Finland (116). Lower positions are occupied by Lithuania (58 units), Latvia (52 units), Romania (45 units) and Bulgaria (43 units).
